Claims Technical Trainer
Barker Munro are pleased to be offering a new and exciting role within the UK Claims industry with an award winning insurance company as a Claims Technical Trainer.
As the Technical Trainer, you will be working as part of Group Technical Claims and will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and delivery of specific material/modules of Technical Claims Training, across all Customer and Third Party claims teams, including Customer Home claims, FP motor repairs, FP motor total loss claims, Third Party Damage, Third Party Bodily Injury, Recoveries, Credit Hire, TP intervention and Claims Fraud Teams.
Working closely with various departments across the business to enhance the development of the claims teams whilst also identifying skills gaps and training needs arising from process/legislation changes, from Competency Skills Matrix plans and/or areas of under-performance following phone or file audits.
To be considered for this exciting training role, you will be able to demonstrate a background of working in all aspects of Customer (Home and Motor) &/or Third Party motor claims, with strong technical skills and knowledge of legal liability, policy indemnity, home claims, motor vehicle repair processes, special damages, PI generals damages, MOJ, CPR, litigation, recoveries and fraud detection.
You will have experience in delivering both classroom and side-by-side training to claims staff and also a proven background in producing professional, comprehensive, structured, engaging and innovative claims training material to a variety of skills level within the business. If you are able to demonstrate qualifications in Insurance such as Cert CII, Dip CII or ACII, this would be hugely advantageous or indeed have a recognised training qualification such as CIPD or equivalent.
This will be an office-based role working across multiple locations delivering classroom and 121 training, side by side coaching and creating technical e-learning solutions.
