About the role: Leigh Academies Trust has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Premises Maintenance Operative (Caretaker) to join our collaborative team, working across our academies in the Longfiled / New Ash Green area by joining the Site team and helping to provide effective operation, maintenance, cleaning and security of the Academy’s buildings, grounds and plants. We make a massive difference and enable the students to gain their full potential through providing the best environment possible.

Our successful candidate will be working across Milestone Academy, Longfield Academy and Hartley Primary Academy, all of which are located in the Longfiled / New Ash Green area.

Applicants need to be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding. We offer fantastic training opportunities so can provide support if there are any areas that you may need to be up-skilled or trained.

This opportunity is not based in Strood. Due to the mobile nature of the role the successful applicant will need to have a driving licence and access to their own vehicle in order to travel between Longfield/New Ash Green sites.​​​​​​​
