Seeking a Block Property Manager to join a leading Property Management Agents in Brighton.

Hays Property and Surveying are seeking a Block Property Manager to join a leading Property Management Agents based in Brighton. The role will be remote based to start with, moving to a hybrid working model once normality returns.

The company are a locally recognised Property Management Agents, with a strong reputation for providing residential block management services across Sussex and the South East. The business manages a diverse portfolio of leasehold properties, from purpose-built estates to grade listed conversions, on behalf of private freeholders and Resident Management Companies.

Due to an increase of workloads and client demand, the business is now looking to appoint a Block Property Manager to compliment it's existing team.

Your new role
As a Block Property Manager, you will be fundamentally responsible for the day-to-day management of an assigned portfolio of residential leasehold properties. Depending on your experience, this may include large blocks and developments, or smaller sites encompassing several units.

Specific responsibilities may include;


* Day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties.
* Monitor budgets and expenditure in relation to planned preventative maintenance
* Implement service charge budgets, whilst working closely with property finance teams
* Assess and arrange reactive maintenance with contractors
* Undertake property inspections, where required
* Attend meetings with leaseholders and RMCs
* Deal with leaseholder and client requests and queries

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within the role, you will need;


* AIRPM / MIRPM - desirable
* A minimum of 2 years experience within Residential Block Management
* A good understanding of current landlord and tenant legislation in relation to long leasehold property
* Proficient understanding of residential leases, statutory compliance and CDM regulations
* Experience of budget management, financial control and building maintenance and repairs
