This client is a well established Housing Association based in West Kent. They manage over 7000 homes across the Kent and South East region and build around 300 new homes a year.

This role is within the property team, you will sit within in a team of 20+ people and work with well established members of the team. I have made numerous placements with this organisation for similar roles and always had great feedback from the candidates about the way they treat their staff.

Your new role
The Senior Contracts Manager will have responsibility for the majority of the association's contracts, this will include grounds maintenance, windows and door, painting and decorating and compliance contracts. You will be responsible for building relationships with residents and contractors and internally with colleagues across the business. You will also be responsible for budget management of all of these contracts so experience in this area will be essential. This role has management responsibilities for a small team, you will be an experienced manager who can coach and develop your team.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have working knowledge of relevant legislation including, Housing Law and Health & Safety. Experience of delivering Housing Management services, including liaising with contractors and procurement processes along with knowledge of JCT contracts. You will need to hold a UK driving licence and be prepared to use your car for business use.
