Our client, who specialises in professional services across a range of industries are looking for a Commercial and Data Protection Lawyer.

Responsibilities:

* Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts
* Build and maintain client relationships
* Occasionally support the Mergers and Acquisitions team with commercial and data protection due diligence
* Support clients to develop their data privacy procedures
* Review, draft and negotiate data processing and data sharing agreements
* Support clients in their interactions with data subjects of the ICO concerning the processing of personal data

Person Specification:

* Solid knowledge of commercial contracts
* Experience of construction and IT contracts would be advantageous
* Experience of negotiating data processing agreements
* Excellent organisational, communication skills and able to work under pressure
* Skilled at analysing risk
* A desire to support clients and develop relationships
