A local Dover client is currently looking for an IT support Assistant for a 3-4 weeks to move equipment from one area to another and to assist in IT asset logging, stripping and secure disposal. This is to enable the relocation of IT staff from building 4 and to repurpose the 'IT workshop' for multi-occupancy.
Ability to use simple tools to enable the removal of storage devices from IT hardware (removal of hard drives etc.) Logging of asset tags of devices prior to disposal Ability to follow instructions Willingness to assist IT staff as directed - involving physical disposal of redundant hardware. This role involves removing/storing devices that may contain sensitive data, therefore the person will demonstrate a high level of integrity.
Experience and knowledge in the areas mentioned, able to carry out manual lifting of IT equipment, can do and flexible attitude.
Monday to Friday 37 hours a week - CV's in Word format please. Able to start work immediately and provide a reference from a previous employer.
