A rare opportunity has arisen to join on Kent's foremost employers, a global manufacturing firm who possess impressive market share across most of their product range.
Joining as a Technical Trainee, (the role will sit within the Technical department), you will learn and understand the technical aspects of the business and it's industry sectors and our various competitors whilst assisting and supporting internal and external customers in relation their manufactured products.
Other duties include:
* Providing technical support via phone, email, webchat and social media to internal and external customers in relation to products;
* To provide advice and technical input on different design and site items such as drawing/details, design parameters, specifications, general design, theoretical design so that the most suitable solution(s) may be found to these design areas and correct systems recommended for use;
* Respond to requests from other departments for input onto projects required technical information such as R&D, NPD, marketing etc.
The incoming candidate will ideally have a passion for, or a desire to move into, the construction industry. You will possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work effectively in a small team.
