New Appointments Group are proud to be working in partnership with East Kent College on an exciting community funded project. We are seeking Job Brokers to work a fixed term contract until June 2022, covering the College's various sites throughout the County.

We are seeking an engaging and interactive candidates to join the Adult College team to deliver a range of employability related qualifications to people who are actively seeking employment.

The successful candidates will provide a job brokerage function for adults in the community and will work in partnership with Job Centre Plus, external agencies and employers to deliver qualifications that challenge attitudes and barriers to work. The aim of the role is to broker people into sustainable employment.



About You

We are looking for candidates with an ambition to make a difference in their local communities by providing outstanding teaching and learning and targeted support. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential, although ideally you will have demonstrable experience of teaching and coaching/mentoring.

Key to your success in this role is to demonstrate the ability to build rapport, show empathy, motivate people and influence their perception, goal and next steps towards employment.



Salary: £27,213/annum pro rata



The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
