Working for a leading manufacturing company that has been operating for 50 years your key duties will include:
* Repair and maintenance, fault finding, tool approval and modification of new and existing tools
* Actively participate in and facilitating continuous improvement to tooling
* To work as part of a team to ensure targets for delivery, quality and efficiency are met
* To repair & maintain injection mould tools to specified tolerances
* To design, manufacture and repair special purpose tools
* To be able to manufacture brand new tools
Experience and competencies:
* Time served with toolmaking experience in injection moulding or finished
* apprenticeship with at least 1 year of experience
* Experience of using Ansys SpaceClaim and / or NCG CAM software is advantageous, but
* training will be provided if necessary
* Knowledge of CNC milling / EDM operation would be advantageous but not essential
* Experience with all toolmaking machinery
* Good bench skills
* Confident with detailed drawings.
