The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently helping an exciting and well-funded Media and Content services organisation to search for a Linux System Administrator to join their London operation on a permanent basis.

By joining this company, you will be joining during a key period of growth for them and will gain the opportunity to work alongside global brands including the BBC and Netflix.

With operations strategically located in the world's top media hotspots (LA, London, Tokyo, Sydney and Singapore) they provide the infrastructure for broadcasters, studios and other media sources to stream tens of thousands of hours of content to millions of views on a daily basis.

You will be given autonomy within the role from day one and will be given world-class training to help you on your way to becoming a DevOps Engineer. On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in:

* Looking after their servers
* Working on software deployments
* Configuration tasks
* Troubleshooting
* Automating
* System design/architecture

To be successful in the role, you will need as much experience in the below technologies as possible but not all is essential:

Linux System Administration: Ubuntu, Debian or Centos

Networking and Network Protocols

Scripting Server Automation: Python, Bash, Shell, Perl etc

Monitoring Tools: Zabbix, Rudder, Grafana etc

Configuration Management: Chef, Puppet, Salt etc

Cloud Services: AWS
