Finance and project administration assistant

Our client an innovative technology company focused on renewable energy solutions are looking for a Finance and Project Administration Assistant to join their team. Managing the purchase and sales ledgers, overseeing supplier and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Manage all supplier & sales invoices
* Manage supplier payments
* Ensure Outstanding staff expenses are on the accounting system and flagged to be paid weekly
* Manage and liaise with suppliers
* Coordinate with the head of project delivery to ensure all project related purchasing is done on time
* Complete the RMS process with suppliers and customers
* Manage PO system on the accounting system, ensuring all purchases have a PO
* Maintain purchase & sales ledgers
* Manage the departments inbox
* Ensure invoices are paid on time, chasing clients when necessary
* Manage the monthly sales invoicing register
* Update and manage the monthly rental profit and loss document
* Schedule and manage planned preventative maintenance with clients
* Prepare and collate site visit documentation provided to engineers and once completed issued to clients
* Log support requests from clients
Person Specification:
* Experience managing and reconciling purchase and sales ledgers
* Previous experience managing supplier purchases and payments
* Previous experience in an engineering and manufacturing environment would be advantageous
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience with Sage and Xero would be advantageous
