An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rapidly growing company based in Orpington that designs and manufactures scientific accessories. You will be working in their clean rooms for the coating of specialist lenses.

No prior knowledge required however experience in working in a clean room environment is desired. Full training will be provided.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Carrying out duties within the Optics/Polarizer Department as directed by the Cell Leader. These include: -



* Carry out the processing of the polarizer lenses in alignment of standard operating procedures.
* Processing the coating of lenses in small batches.
* Set-up and align lasers for producing processes.
* Carry out testing of components.
* Assembling lenses in to frames.
* Packing of completed assemblies.
* Inspecting components before moving them on to the next manufacturing process.
* Complete all necessary documentation.
* Any other duties that may be required from time to time



PERSON SPECIFICATION:



* Capability to work independently
* Ideally experience in working with optical lenses.
* Capable of solving problems.
* Attention to detail.
* Ideally worked in a clean room environment.
* Good manual dexterity
* Good concentration.
* Ideally, have some experience in working with lasers.
