We currently have a vacancy for an Advantage QC Inspector to join our Quality team at the Aylesford site.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured Advantage products/stacks conform to the agreed QA/QC processes.


Responsibilities will include:

• Performing and documenting routine Advantage Fabrication approval testing and other routine Fabrication QC Rounds; including any visual, measurement or physical testing as described in QA/QC processes
• Accepting or bonding product based on results of measurements/testing, and communicating test outcomes to Advantage personnel and Team Leader as appropriate
• Ensuring that any nonconforming product are correctly bonded, and any agreed follow up actions or investigations are completed in a timely manner
• Assist with quality checks on externally sourced products
• Calibrate identified test equipment and gauges

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience and skills:

• A team player (Hungry, Humble and Smart)
• Good communication skills, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Have the ability to make decisions on own initiative based on agreed standards
• Computer literate – working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, and IFS
• Attention to detail is essential
• A working knowledge of Polypipe products
• Ability to interpret Product drawings and quality documents
• Ability to use and interpret measuring instruments/equipment related to products being tested/inspected.

Hours/Shift Pattern
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
