Finance & Credit Control Assistant| Mid-Kent - Hybrid | £20k - £22k + bonus
Our client, a successful business growing both through acquisition and organically, are seeking to appoint a Finance & Credit Control Assistant to join their head office team in Kent. You will assist the Credit Controller in collection of payments and sales ledger across the business. This would suit someone who has some credit control experience or is from a customer service background with AAT studies. You will need to have excellent communication skills and comfortable with being on the phone. You will use their initiative to take on further tasks and looking to progress with the company in the future. The company are currently working on a Hybrid basis.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Balance Contribute to delivering weekly/monthly cash collection target
• Support Credit Controller and Financial Accountant
• Shorten invoice to cash cycle, dispute & query resolution
• Maintain customer accounts
• Opening post and general office duties
Candidate Profile:
• Either some credit control experience or customer service with AAT studies
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable being on the phone
• Good work ethic and looking to learn and develop new skills
