Accounts Assistant | East Kent | £25k - £28k
Our client, a well-established organisation based in the East Kent area is looking for Accounts Assistant to join their small team on a permanent basis. This role will be mainly office based and focused on transactional processes like purchase and sales ledgers.
The client is looking for someone with all round transactional accounts experience with working experience in Sage ideally Sage 200.
Duties will include:
• Accounts Payable – matching, coding, input, payments runs and statement reconciliations
• Accounts Receivable – remittance upload, raise invoices, payment allocation
• Credit Control inc Monthly Aged Debtor reporting for the group
• Banking cheques
• Petty cash management
• First point of contact for the Accounts Team phone line
• Monitor and respond to Accounts Payable e-mail in-box queries
• Intercompany recharges for the group
• Ad-Hoc ordering support for the homes and Accounts Team stationery ordering.
• Assist in the annual group audit
Requirements for the role
• All round transactional accounts experience
• Recent working experience of Sage ideally Sage 200
• Ability to work efficiently and methodically
• AAT Qualification preferable
• Ability to Liaise effectively with service users, colleagues and management
• Ability to use the Microsoft suite of programs
