Production Operative:
Main duties will include:
• General workshop labour.
• Cutting, trimming etc using power saws & equipment.
• Manual handling.
• Use of a rivet gun to assemble metal and plastic parts.
• Cleaning of the workshop and tools where required.
• Preparing Pallets for dispatch.
The Candidate:
The right candidate should have their own transport as the estate is not near main rail stations. They should be willing to learn new skills and work well in both an office-based and a manual scenario. We are a small company with close working partnerships, so the right candidate will be happy to work as part of a small team.
The right candidate will be:
• Computer literate.
• Well presented.
• Physically fit to be able to lift components and finished products from benches.
• Be willing to learn and take pride in their work.
Working Hours:
Working hours are from 8.00AM to 4.00PM with a 60-minute lunch break, Monday - Friday. Initially on an up to 6-Month Contract view a view to be made permanent.
