Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client based near Goudhurst is looking for a Clinical Waste Technician to collect and transport clinical waste within Kent, Sussex, Essex, London and Surrey and then take to disposal.

Drivers shall be responsible for completing local collections of various clinical waste products both hazardous and non-hazardous from business addresses, dental practices and various healthcare settings. Additional responsibilities within this role will be for replacing clients Air Fresheners, Soap Dispensers and Feminine Hygiene Units (where applicable)

Candidates MUST be 25 years or older and have a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience

This varied role will include day to day duties such as:
• Controlling customer stock and following service routes.
• Complete all hazardous waste consignment notes accurately
• Collecting Waste as trained with safe loading, carriage and unloading of product on van(s) to a waste transfer station.
• Following procedures and completing calls in a safe and timely manner
• Delivering of products to customers and having a full understanding of product range and services provided.

Ideal candidates will have good interpersonal skills, be professional, self-motivated and must be competent with multi-collection van driving.

The client prefers applicants to hold a valid ADR licence (category 6), however this is not essential as the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity of training for this licence after a qualifying period.

This position will require a DBS check due to the nature of their business.

Full training will be provided for this role including general health and safety, manual handling and specific process training.


The salary for this position is between £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

This role is Monday to Friday

6am/7am start depending on the days work (8 hour days)

Own transport is required due to our clients rural location
