Office Support and Accounts Administrator
North Kent
Full-time, Permanent
Competitive basic salary + benefits
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
KHR is currently assisting a bespoke independent manufacturer based in North Kent who are looking to hire an experienced Office Support and Accounts Administrator to join a small, close-knit team.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Office Support and Accounts Administrator will include:
- General administration including filing, emailing, scanning, and recording information accurately
- Invoicing via the in-house database and Xero accounts system
- Checking supplier statements and compiling accurate Aged Payables reports
- Raising credit notes
- Daily bank reconciliation on Xero
- Checking weekly clock cards and keeping holiday records
- Answering incoming calls
- Taking email and telephone orders and processing them accordingly
- Use of Excel spreadsheets
- Arrange deliveries and book in with clients
- Manage sales calls when required
Candidate Profile
- Previous accounts exposure - reconciliations, invoicing, credit notes, supplier statements
- Strong administrative skills - order processing, customer liaisons, and database management
- Good communication skills in order to liaise with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Ability to prioritise workload to suit business needs
- Experience using Xero or Sage and Excel
- Computer literate
- Good team player, capable and willing to pick up other ad hoc duties when required
