Experienced Assembly / Production Operative
Near Aylesford
Commutable via public transport, but also lots of on-site parking available

Due to increasing workload my client, a leading manufacturing company, are looking for an experienced Assembly / Production Operative to join their well-established, driven and hard-working team.

Ideally, this candidate will have some basic joinery/wood-working skills, but they are happy to train individuals who have an interest in this area.

Working in a smaller team you need to be focused, driven and assist you team members in the shared goal of fulfilling client orders and requirements on time and to spec.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7am - 4.30pm. There could be overtime available

Duties
*To carry out daily tasks as set out by the Production Lead
*Assemble products, as well as fit additional component parts or make adjustments as needed
*To keep your area and the workshop tidy and safe
*Help count stock as necessary
*Communication with Customer Services/other departments as needed
*Working as part of a team and doing other ad-hoc jobs as needed
*Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed

Requirements
*Previous demonstrated joinery/wood-working experience, or a passion to work in this area
*Confident use of power tools
*Good communication skills
*Great English and numeracy skills to understand instructions for orders
*Adaptable and willing to do whatever is needed to get the orders fulfilled
*Have a key focus on quality
*Take full accountability for their role
*Driven and wants to be an integral cog in the overall success of the company
*Reliable and punctual
*Team-player
