Marine Broker Support Technician

- Salary to £40,000 + benefits package

- Permanent contract

- Hybrid working - 3 days in City office with 2 days working from home



An opportunity to join a privately owned, international Lloyds broker with offices in London, US,Australia, mainland Europe and the Far East.



As part of a small team of technical support specialist you will work closely with brokers, account executives and insurers to support the placement and retention of open market risks across Hull & Machinery, Cargo and Yacht.



- Obtain terms and create MRC slips & endorsements for presentation to Syndicate/Company and Overseas markets.

- Produce post-placement clients documents - E.O.C and invoices

- Uploading risks onto PPL - training will be provided

- Analyse and produce renewal statistics

- Negotiate renewals with insurers and resolve queries

- Assist the DUA team with Atlas,DCOM and DDM - training will be provided

- Ensure all activities comply with Lloyds & FCA regulations.



Requirements



* Knowledge of marine hull & machinery insurance - essential
* Knowledge of cargo and/or yacht - desirable
* Experience creating MRC slips - essential
* Production of EOC and debit notes - essential
* Familiarity with Atlas,DCOM,DDM - desirable
