We are resourcing for a respected charity in the Herne Bay area for a HR Administrator who will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with the recruitment process. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to join a HR team or who is looking to expand their HR skills.
The role
1. All recruitment administration from approval, adverts, interviews to offer letters.
2. Providing administrative support to the HR team, monitoring HR inboxes and post daily, liaising with team to ensure queries are responded to within the agreed timeframe.
3. Organise and complete New Starter Appointments with new recruits, ensuring all new starter paperwork and pre-employment checks have been fully completed.
4. Scanning, filing and collating any other employee information for employee file compliance (digital and hard copy).
5. Preparing New Starter Recruitment Packs.
6. Creating and issuing ID Badges.
7. Issuing probation confirmation letters to staff.
8. Review and record Exit Interview Questionnaire data.
9. Respond to employment & tenancy references.
10. HR archiving.
11. Process and record HR invoices and PO's.
12. Complete monthly reconciliation of HR Director's credit card expenditure.
13. Assist with the distribution of Work anniversary Cards and Birthday cards for employees.
14. Reception cover.
15. Attend careers fairs and other recruitment or charity events to promote Strode Park as requested.
16. Be friendly, approachable, and professional as HR's 'first point of contact' for stakeholders.
17. Assist with the completion of new DBS checks and DBS renewals of staff.
18. Support the wider HR team and the Charity as a whole with ad-hoc administrative projects as and when required. This may include providing short ad-hoc periods of cover for the main reception.
19. To support the aims and objectives of our Charity and play a full and active part in working so that at all times this post is providing the highest standard of care to people who use our services.
