What you’ll do



With inductions starting in April and may, you will start with training to be part of our busy contact centre. Once trained you’ll be making and receiving calls from our customers to talk to them about missed payments on any of the products we service for the Provident Group to help them get back on track.

Duties will include:



Working on our call dialler system to take inbound calls and make outbound calls to our customers
Speaking with our customers to find the best solution for them to help them manage their credit account moving forward
Updating our customer databases to ensure accurate records are kept of the customers account and personal situation
Providing excellent service at all times to our customers


When & Where



Our current shift pattern works between the hours of 8:30am – 7pm Monday – Friday and 2 Saturday’s are required every four weeks.



Although your initial training will be delivered remotely, once you have successfully completed your training, we will ask you to work from our Chatham, Kent office for the next 4-6 weeks so we can ensure you feel skilled and confident to start working on the phones. Following this we will give you the option to take advantage of our hybrid working meaning you work from home, but with a minimum 3 days a month in office.

CUSTOMER SERVICE… that’s essential. If you’ve got previous experience in a bank or in a contact centre that’s great but if not, don’t worry. Having previous customer service experience either face to face or over the phone is a great starting point. What’s most important is that you’re a true customer champion who works hard to get the best outcome for every single person you speak with.
