Commercial Motor or Commercial Property

Hybrid Working - 3 days from home with 2 office based days in either Chelmsford, or Manchester or Leatherhead.

Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 dep. on skills and knowledge + benefits



We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of the world's largest insurance broking businesses with a strong footprint in the UK market.



Due to a strong growth in both the UK commercial motor and commercial property owners portfolio our client is now seeking to hire a number of claims specialist to support this expansion.

Responsible for a designated claims portfolio. You will manage all aspects of the claims cycle from notification through to closure.



- Work closely with sub-brokers and directly with insured's to understand claims and obtain necessary evidence / documentation.

- Review policy coverage to verify claims and ensure that insurers are advised and updated throughout the claims process.

- Lead negotiations with insurers and co-ordinate with adjusters, repairers / contractors etc inorder to progress claims without delays.

- Ensure that claimants are provided with regular updates, guidance and clear time frames to provide a market leading level of customer service.



What you need to bring …

* Experience within either motor or property claims from a broking, insurer or TPA background.
* An understanding of UK insurance legislation and regulations pertaining to claims handling.
* Strong customer service skills
* Team working ethos
* A desire to learn and progress
* Willing to take ownership
