Job role: Warehouse Operative

Location: New Hythe Ln, Larkfield, Aylesford ME20 6SW

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday

Hours: Mon-Weds 2pm-12:30am, Thurs 2pm-11pm

Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Newstrade team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers, providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone.

This role is based on a basic 38.5 hour week.

THE HOURS:

Monday:14:00- 00:30am

Tuesday: 14:00- 00:30am

Wednesday:14:00- 00:30am

Thursday:14:00-23:00



WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES

Assemble customer supplies according to packing specifications
Break down, allocate and load inbound magazine supplies
Check the quality of packed orders
Locate over-stocks, enabling efficient compiling of customer orders
Keep the warehouse safe, clean and tidy
Adhere to company procedures and policies
Unload, load, sort and scan deliveries

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE REQUIREMENTS

Positive ‘can do’ and hardworking approach to work
Appetite for supporting colleagues
Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
Comfortable working to strict deadlines
Good communication skills
