We are seeking an experienced Officemanager/administrator to work within a small team in our friendly, well-established architectural practice in Gravesend.

You will provide administrative support to the whole team. You will be able to act and respond on email and telephone enquiries and be able to greet and liaise with visitors. Candidates will ideally have some bookkeeping experience, will have good verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task in an organised manner.


Responsibilities:

• General office management
• Invoicing and Credit control
• Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
• Obtaining quotes from suppliers and placing orders.
• Arranging in-house CPD seminars
• Supporting the Directors.
• Managing emails
• Tracking Planning Applications on Planning Portal
• Managing archive records
• Managing Professional Indemnity and Office insurance


Candidate Requirements:
• Previous experience within similar role and office environment.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Punctual and organised.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Office and Outlook and ideally a knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts.
• Confident telephone manner and customer service awareness.



This is a permanent, Full/Part-time position. Hours to be agreed, to suit childcare commitments if necessary.
