Job title: Management Accountant / Head of Accounts

Salary: £35k - £38k

Location: Lydd (office based)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm, 8:30am- 4:30pm or 9am - 5pm

Benefits: 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays

This exciting opportunity has become available due to the current employee retiring towards the end of the year so you'll receive an excellent handover!

Main duties within the role:

* Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for 3 companies
* Analysis of variances and reconciliation of performance against expectation
* Balance sheet reconciliation
* Fixed asset posting management and reporting
* Monthly cash flow estimates and monitoring
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Monthly Payroll for approximately 46 employees
* Preparation of Annual budgets
* Preparation of Financial Statements for Audit
* Bank management and payments
* Overseeing and advising a small accounts team of 2

We'd love to speak to candidates with the following:

* Qualified or Part qualified Accountant or Qualified through experience
* A good working knowledge of Accounting procedures including Sales ledger and Purchase ledger is essential
* Experience using Sage Line 50 would be an advantage but not essential
