Job Title: Commercial Underwriter
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
Location: London
My client, a fantastic business based in London are looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join them on a full time, basis.
This role will ensure HNW individuals receive the best possible support from an underwriting perspective.
Duties Include:
* Underwriting high net worth commercial legal indemnity risks
* Maximising business profitability
* Building strong relationships
* Providing support and guidance to trainee underwriters to develop their technical/commercial proficiency
* Liaise with clients, solicitors and brokers in relation to insurance policies and resolve policy queries
To be successful you will have/be
* Experience dealing with commercial property who can demonstrate detailed knowledge of commercial property law
* 3 years PQE
* Proven experience of handling acquisitions and disposal, landlord & tenant and development work
* Ability to influence key decision makers
* Law or similar degree/ or insurance/legal professional qualification.
Suitable candidates will have previous commercial underwriting experience dealing with HNW individuals. The company are offering a hybrid work environment and plenty more benefits which will be revealed at interview stage.
