Job Title: Sprinkler Design Engineer

Location: Maidstone

Salary: £50k

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Founded in 2010 by the two Managing Directors, this company has grown considerably over time to become market leader within their field. You'll be supporting the Division with installation of commercial and residential Sprinkler systems to current British Standards.

You'll be working with a friendly/ happy team and will be adding to their 'family' environment. They are supportive so no question is too small. This is a fast-growing company within the industry seeing huge success, leading to an amazing opportunity for you to be part of this growth.



As the Sprinkler Design Engineer your key responsibilities would be:

* Designing residential and commercial automatic fire sprinkler systems
* Projects will be a mix of commercial and residential schemes including new and retrofits
* Calculating pre-calculated and FHC calculating on projects
* Attending site meetings, carrying out site surveys and site inspections
* Working on the LPCB Supervision process, including uploading and answering comments
* Be familiar with BS9251 & BSEN 12845
* Liaise closely with the sales, design and projects teams.



We'd love to speak to candidates with the following skills:

* Proficient in the use of 2D AutoCAD
* LPCB basic and intermediate competency qualification
* FHC calculations
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* Good attention to detail
