The primary responsibility of a Resourcer is to support Recruitment Consultants / Account Managers to attract candidates (job-seekers) for clients. The main difference between a Resourcer and a Consultant is that a Resourcer has less client contact and is not expected to make sales calls to attract and win new clients. As a result of a demanding and increasing workload, we are looking for an additional resourcer to join our team.

As a Resourcer your typical day to day responsibilities would be;.
Supporting the consultants/account managers in the methodical sourcing and screening of candidates and matching them to suitable job roles
Searching databases, job boards, cv sites and other internet resources to discuss employment opportunities with candidates
Write engaging, compliant and grammatically correct advertisements for each role you are recruiting for
Post ads on various job boards and social media
Manage advert response through our recruitment software
Create watchdogs and alerts for specific skill sets
Promote our vacancies and temp assignments through our social media
Contact candidates via telephone, text or email to arrange registration and coordinate interviews.
Assist with marketing available candidates via email

The resourcing role is a great way to learn the ropes before moving into the full 360 recruitment role and managing your own client base if that is what you would like to do. To succeed in this particular role you will need to be efficient and methodical and be able to think on your feet to match candidates to relevant job opportunities quickly. You should be a confident communicator as this role will involve constant interaction with a range of people and personalities from different industries at different levels.

The role would suit someone who has the following skills:
Good academic background
Knowledge of the importance of social media in communicating quickly and accurately
Excellent command of the English language, spelling and grammar
Copywriting and research skills
Methodical and tenacious attitude
A willingness and desire to learn more about recruitment and/or HR
Being able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines effectively
Computer literate and quick to learn a range of in-house software
