Due to continued success, a leading manufacturing company based in Sittingbourne is recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join their small team to help look after their marketing requirements on a permanent basis.

This is a very exciting role whereby the successful candidate will be able to help accomplish the goals and targets of the marketing department, whilst carrying out a range of tasks across social media, websites, campaigns, advertising and brand awareness.
You will work under the direction of the Communications Manager to help accomplish the goals and targets of the marketing department by both a traditional and digital means.

You will assist in generating marketing campaigns and strategies encompassing a variety of mediums, including creating brochures, email campaigns and all of the company's social media accounts.
You will maintain the company website, ensuring information is updated regularly and also the CRM.

In addition to this you will assist in the planning and smooth running of trade shows and other corporate events.

This role would be ideal for someone early in their marketing career or with a marketing qualification or related field, who has the drive and motivation to learn more. Qualifications in English and other creative areas would also be ideal.

A working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous, although training can be provided. Understanding Google Ad Platforms would be beneficial as you will need to create and maintain digital advertising alongside implementing SEO strategies.

Knowledge of the Magento CMS would be an advantage, however training can be provided.

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm, with half an hour for lunch.
