Goldhawk are current working with a regional firm of accountants who are looking to appoint an experienced accountant to their team. Working to support the manager and assistant manager you will be responsible for overseeing the office and the trainees providing support and guidance. You will also be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients alongside supporting and managing the team, managing workloads, reviewing their work, and training and development.
They are looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with several years` worth of experience, someone who has managed teams and is comfortable managing a portfolio. Ideally you will have had experience of or exposure to property accounting as this would be a great advantage in light of the portfolio of clients you will be managing, so experience of buy to let properties and experience of advising clients in this area would be beneficial. This is a client facing role as well as being internally focused on the successful development and running of the team. You will advise and support clients on all matter relating to tax planning and annual accounts.
