We're currently looking to recruit a Fabricator Welder to join our busy team in Ashford. 



The role will involve: 



the manufacture and assemble of metal fabrications, both ferrous and non-ferrous, using appropriate equipment and processes, for example MIG, TIG, Electric Arc welding, Guillotine, Folder, and Drill etc.

manufacturing from drawings and identify where improvements in function, efficiency and quality can be achieved.

working in co-operation with all departments in the Production facility and show by results, an adequate standard of skill.

maintain a consistent standard of work and performance to satisfy the Company Quality Assurance manual.



The successful candidate will: 



have a time served apprenticeship in a relevant field

have experience of working within a manufacturing environment

have experience of workplace continuous improvement., e.g. Lean, Kaizen, 6S

be competent in the use of MIG Welders

be competent in the use of TIG Welders (preferred)

have sheet metal experience, cutting & folding

have a good understanding of Engineering drawings

have good attention to detail
