Senior Non-Marine Claims Broker / Team Leader
Hybrid working - 7 days in 10 at the City office.
Permanent contract
Salary to £65,000 + benefits package
To work closely with the Head of Department to coordinate and oversee all activity within a small claims team. Allocate work, monitor work flow, provide technical support and guidance, quality control and mentor.
Become a key member within a dynamic global Lloyds broker who are expanding.
Role summary:
* support and oversee less experienced members of the team
* manage a portfolio of complex claims and key client relationships
* ensure that all advices, updates and settlements are processed within agreed timescales
* act as a client advocate and provide regular updates, guidance and support
* leading negotiations with insurers in the Syndicate & Company market as well as overseas markets.
* monitor claims service provision
* proactive review of activity within the department and anticipate problems
* review and manage to production of claims reporting and analytics.
* Responsible for identifying and implementing process efficiencies.
Requirements:
* In depth understanding of claims handling within the Lloyds marketplace
* Technical experience in global Energy, Power and Renewables (ideally) or more general Property.
* Experience of handling direct & facultative claims
* Team leadership experience - official or unofficial
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent organisation
* Experience using ECF and MS excel.
* Familiarity with Eclipse and ImageRright, ideal but not essential.
