Job: Team Assistant

Salary: £22,000

Location: London



Our client, a Lloyd's Broker, are looking for someone to join their team in London as a Team Assistant in the Financial and Professional Risks Department. The role will be to provide day to day administrative services to other members of staff and teams within the office.



Main Duties:

* Logging all new business enquiries into the system and sending response email back.
* Creating new records and keeping these updated
* Scanning information onto the IT system
* Archiving old and historic paperwork
* Assisting teams with administrative tasks
* Updating the computer system with events, produce documents/correspondence as required
* Communicating effectively both internally and externally in a professional and friendly manner
* Maintaining an acceptable level of product knowledge by keeping up-to-date with product developments and training courses
* To build good working relationships with the other teams
* Follow Group and Divisional processes and policies
* To work within FCA rules and guidance as interpreted by the Group's compliance policies and processes, particularly on Treating Customers Fairly
* Meeting internal KPI's
* Updating and forwarding enquiries and updates to insurers/brokers on the online quoting system
* Creating Quotes/slips and policies

Key Skills/ Requirements:

* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong written and oral communication abilities
* Attention to detail
* Professional and responsible
* Focused and self-motivated
* Patient and tactful
* Energetic, outgoing and confident
* Enthusiastic team player
* Effective IT/ PC skills
* The ability to quickly and accurately enter information
* Good numeric skills and capable of multi-tasking

This role would suit a recent school leaver or someone looking to start a career within the Insurance industry.
