Business Change Manager - 12 Month FTC - Based in Crawley - remote working available. Salary Up to £45839

Your new role

The Business Change Manager will work as part of a team delivering an effective service supporting the Strategic Operations Programme Director and other senior managers across the Operations directorate exercising a high level of discretion and authority in decision-making and actions to reduce the pressure on their time and workloads. This is a key role in managing the day-to-day business of the Strategic Operations portfolio. The post holder will be responsible for a range of delegated projects to ensure the smooth running of the business and delivery of the directorate's objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

* Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Understanding of the principles of good governance and Board assurance
* Working in a large, multi-professional organisation
* Providing executive business support
* Setting up and managing robust governance and assurance systems and frameworks
* Management and reporting of risks
* Producing reports, business cases, service specifications, policies and procedures
* Ability to prioritise and deal with competing demands and a rapidly changing agenda
* Ability to make judgments and manage and resolve highly complex and highly sensitive issues with the utmost discretion
* Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems
* Developed communication skills for delivering key messages to a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation
