We currently have a vacancy for a Production Operator to join our Extrusion Department, based at our Aylesford site.
The role will involve the packing of extruded products, quality inspection and testing, and processing support. There will also be a requirement to operate a variety of Mechanical Handling Equipment such as Fork Lift Trucks and Combi-Lifts.
To be successful you will:
The ideal candidate will be reliable, have an excellent timekeeping/attendance record and be capable of working within a high demand, fast paced manufacturing environment. They will also have the willingness to learn IFS product booking.
The successful candidate will be expected to work in accordance with departmental Safe Systems of Work. Previous experience of working within an Extrusion environment would be an advantage.
Shifts: The position is on 3 rotating shifts, 40 hrs per week, Monday - Friday.
Salary: £19,760.00 - £22,000.00 (BAND 2) + 3 shift supplement of £3442.63 per annum
