Property And Facilities Manager

Maidstone

£70-80k DOE + COMPANY CAR + HYBRID WORKING



A great opportunity has opened for a Property and Facilities Manager to join an established and growing business, with over 70 properties across the UK.



Due to successful growth, this company is looking to recruit an experienced Property and Facilities Manager to take on a range of responsibilities in a diverse field.



Duties include:

* Preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors.
* Managing numerous projects and property portfolios.
* Supervising and coordinating work for the contractors.
* Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services, ensuring maximum value for money.
* Planning and directing essential services such as security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.
* Ensuring properties meet health and safety requirements, and that facilities comply with current legislation.
* Using performance management techniques to demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels.
* Responding appropriately to emergencies and dealing correctly with the consequences.
* Ensuring best allocation and utilisation of space for new or current premises.
* Managing and leading change, avoiding disruption to core activities.
* Planning future developments for the company in line with business objectives.



The successful candidate will have/be:

* Solid experience managing a portfolio of corporate properties - this is essential!
* Confident in making decisions
* Strong time management skills
* A flexible and innovative approach to work
* The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
* Experienced in project management and have the ability to lead a team
* Experience handling complex documents and IT
* A full driving licence
* Flexibility to travel as required
