National Account Manager (Maternity Cover) - Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid Working

3:2 (3 In Office, 2 WFH)

Salary: Up to £60k

Central London

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm

Start date: ASAP!

Overview:

An amazing opportunity to join a luxury company, in Central London. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our National Accounts customers and will be accountable for all aspects of this strategically important channel, including; volume, value & margin improvement; forecasting & phasing; core marketing and brand activation (including in-store merchandising, training, visibility, online, etc) and overall account management (including joint-business planning process). Winning of new accounts may also be an element of the role.



You will apply your previous experience in National Accounts Management to support the team

Sounds interesting?... Daily duties include:

Sales

* Ensure target volume, value and profit growth year on year in our core National retail customers - Waitrose, Majestic, M&S, Sainsburys, Ocado, Booths
* Ensure volume, value and profit targets are achieved
* Ensure agreed volume, value and profit growth year on year as well as maintaining our halo status in our Luxury Retail customers - F&M, Harrods, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges
* Ownership of Joint Business Planning (JBP) process (incl. commercial negotiation, pricing, etc.)
* Sales forecasting (including: monthly phasing & supply chain management)
* Production key insight and market data reports on a regular basis to influence behaviour of national accounts and demonstrate the company authority in leading the category



Marketing

* Working with Trade Marketing Manager to coordinate annual Marketing plan with customers & our Marketing team
* In-Store merchandising and visibility and creating in and out of store training programs
* Implementation of key seasonal platforms/programs
* Online / Digital presence & visibility



Reporting

* Bi-weekly reporting & meeting with senior management to discuss YTD volumes and customer negotiations
* Monthly analysis report of market data to be presented and shared with senior management



Additional Responsibilities

* Undertaking such other duties commensurate with the responsibilities of the role and any other reasonable management request
* Act as a Brand Ambassador, externally representing the brand



To be successful in this role you'll will need to have:



* Background in either a Luxury Brand / or High End food or Hospitality
* Be motivated to lead a team and manage all processes of the account
* Experience in Managing volume accounts within the Luxury sector
