Customer Service Manager

Mid Kent

c.£40-45k DOE



A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join my client's team, a Logistics company based in Mid Kent. The ideal candidate will come from a Logistics/Distribution background and have experience in managing a fast paced, reactive customer service team.

Duties include:

* Leading and managing the Customer Service team; supporting them to ensure they meet company targets and goals
* Dealing with complex queries; start to end resolution
* Generating new ideas that will strengthen the client relationships
* Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
* Giving advice to customers and staff on the company products and services



The successful candidate will have / be:

* Solid experience in a similar role within Logistics/Distribution
* Fantastic leadership and team working skills, sharing vision, and inspiring collaboration and positive change
* A passion for customer service
* Tech savvy with good reporting and analysis skills
* Resilient and confident with the ability to push back in a constructive way
* A strong communicator, both written and verbal
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Ambitious and career minded

This role would suit a strong, confident leader with a background in Logistics and a focused, target orientated mindset. You will need to be career minded, taking pride in the success of your team, and with a natural ability to command respect from your team and manage any day-to-day issues in a calm, supportive but firm way. You will be able to explain processes concisely and keep calm under pressure.
