Role: Automatic Door Engineer

£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year DOE

Job Role: Field Service Engineer - Automatic and sliding doors

My Client is an established company and are specialists in the commercial door, window and security industry throughout London and the surrounding areas.

They are looking for Automatic door engineers that are professional and discreet and will make every effort to accommodate their Client's needs, whilst on-site carrying out their work.

You will need a full UK driving license to travel to sites outside of Romford.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

* Servicing, maintaining and repairing of types of automatic door systems and all associated electrical equipment

* Electrical and mechanical fault finding.

* Service and maintenance to all automatic doors.

* Build good working relationships with clients

* Assisting clients with any queries they may have

* Delivering excellent customer service

* Assist with the ordering of materials and maintenance of stock levels

* Communicate the status of jobs to colleagues and managers

* Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures

* Ensure the correct storage of materials and maintain good housekeeping of equipment

* Ensure Company Vehicles and Office storage areas are kept clean and tidy, in line with safety regulations

* Ensure awareness of health and safety policies and procedure including protective equipment and clothing

* Complete and maintain health and safety records including COSHH assessments and ensure knowledge of data sheets for all equipment and materials used

* Manage quality control of workload.

* Must carry out notes on Clik software on completion of works with correct times, materials and additional notes for upselling products.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Carrying out servicing / installations of automatic doors, sliding doors, shutters and gate
* To liaise with our clients and office team to ensure the smooth running of contracts.
* Carry out reactive and planned repairs of both automated and manual pedestrian doors.
* Carry out Pre planned maintenance visits to automated doors.
* Carry out on site surveying for automatic doors, manual doors, and shutters.
* A flexible approach to your working hours will be required.
