Claims Administrator / Technician

Permanent contract

To £35,000 + benefits

Hybrid Working - City of London & Home



An opportunity to join a specialist Lloyds broking house who are respected as market leaders in global credit and political risk insurances, headquartered in London with offices in the US, Asia and mainland Europe.



In this role you will provide a range of support functions within the dedicated claims team that will ensure claims are managed in a timely, effective and compliant manner which provides clients and markets with a best-in-class service.



Depending on existing levels of experience and current skill set the duties and tasks can be moulded to meet your knowledge and expertise. Over time with training and support the responsibilities will increase and the complexity of the duties will develop.



Examples include …

* Logging initial advices
* Updating claims information
* Creating/updating paper files, where neccessary
* Arranging settlement collections
* Obtaining necessary supporting evidence / documentation
* Running claims reports
* Preparing claims broking presentations
* Sending out claims advices to markets
* Ensuring the accuracy of claims information in the department

Requirements

* At least 2 years experience within a claims role - essential
* Use of ECF - desirable
* Strong data management skills
* Confident communications - verbal & written
* Good IT skills
