Team Assistant (Maternity Cover, up to 12 months)

Office Based, Chessington
£24k- £28k plus 28 days holiday (incl. BH), nearby on-street parking, flexible start/finish time, various Teambuilding and Social events throughout the year plus a friendly relaxed working environment!
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Start date: Asap!
Overview:
An exciting opportunity to join an industry expert within the Construction industry based in Chessington as their Team Assistant.
Their client base ranges across varying sectors including the public sector, residential, commercial, education, and heritage.
You will be confident on the phone and organised with previous experience of working in a similar role, ideally within construction.
Sounds interesting?...Daily duties include:
* Speaking with Housing Association Tenants, Leaseholders and Clients to arrange access appointments
* Coordinating and managing appointment site meetings
* Managing staff diaries
* Arranging investigations and store working files in a good order
* Undertake tender comparisons, type up draft invoices, calculate VAT etc.
* Maintaining general office files and maintaining job lists
* Typing documents to be issued to Clients
* Admin duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails including office correspondence
* Oversee office equipment and supplies
* Performing other relevant duties when needed
To be successful in this role you'll be:
* Experience within an administrative role
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Confident in speaking on the telephone in a professional manner
* Multi-tasking and time-management skills
* Able to quickly learn and understand the work of the team
* Excellent organisational skills
