Sales Administrator

Isle of Sheppey

£25-30k DOE

FULL TIME OFFICE BASED

Are you an ambitious Sales Coordinator or Administrator with a commercial flair?

OR

Have you got a background in technical B2B sales either internally or in the field, but are looking for a more all-round, varied office-based role?

We are delighted to be representing an impressive, forward-thinking business, who are going from strength to strength within their field. This company work nationwide to provide emergency engineering solutions to a wide range of commercial clients and are set to grow exponentially.

They are looking to take on a Sales Administrator working full time from the office, who will ultimately be a driving force within the business and progress their own role as well as contributing to the success and reputation of the business through delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth running of operations from producing quotations, to problem solving and dealing with logistics, and any other post sale coordination, as well as following up leads through to effective close.

No two days will be the same within this fast-paced business, where responding with urgency is key!

Duties include:

* Acting as the first point of contact for any enquiries into the business, offering exceptional customer service and a calm, unflappable response to customers
* Following up leads, identifying opportunities and offering technical advice in order to provide a solution and close a sale
* Managing all post sales operations, including managing any logistics operations liaising effectively with various stakeholders
* Preparing accurate quotations, delivering them in a timely fashion and following up with customers
* Gathering information at all stages - ensuring relevant questions are asked at all times so that the best possible service is delivered, and any new opportunities are identified
* Providing comprehensive administrative support to the two Directors, working with continuous improvement in mind consistently - any areas where processes could be simplified would be welcome!
* Any other duties as required

To be successful in your application you will:

* Have worked within a sales environment, either internally or externally - technical sales being an advantage
* Be an ambitious, self-starter, looking for career progression
* Know how to work with senior level people in a tactful, diplomatic way
* Be educated to at least A Level standard
* Have exceptional interpersonal skills
* Have a strong grasp of the English language, both spoken and written
* Be organised and methodical in your approach
* Be confident to get on the phone and speak to customers
* Have a good sense of humour, unflappable in a pressured environment
* Be tech savvy! You must be able to both create and edit Excel spreadsheets as a minimum!
