Ahead Start Consulting is looking to hire an experienced and competent Fire and Health and Safety Risk Assessor/ Consultant.

You will be joining us at an exciting time – our long-term established clients are growing and need us to grow with them! From the get-go you will be an important part of our team and critical to helping us shape our future.

As a small organisation we offer maximum flexibility to ensure your work-life balance and client satisfaction.

Working from home when not with clients (95% of whom are in London) you will be managing your own diary conducting FRA/H&S Assessments and providing advice to a range of organisations, large and small, including residential managing agents.

It goes without saying that successful candidate will have experience and understanding of current fire and safety legislation, best practice, codes and guides and of fire and safety management and fire/safety risk assessments in both residential and commercial settings. However, naturally, we will continue to support somebody with ongoing CPD, training and gaining further qualifications to help fill any gaps and ensure we stay all stay at the top of our game.

Your background is not important – we are happy to consider people just starting out in this field, who may need a little time to grow into this role, or those who have been there, done that and got many a tee-shirt but fancy life in a smaller pond where they can be a big fish.

We are seeking someone who is prepared to muck in with the whole variety of tasks: assessing, training, hand-holding clients through action plans or challenges and being an all-round good egg. Someone who is happy to think on their feet and offer practical solutions and be happy working with a variety of projects at once is our ideal.

Once you have joined us if you also have a burning desire to research and offer additional services that maybe float your boat (and would appeal to clients) we are always happy to talk and provide the training and resources that may be required. If you are interested in finding out more do email me with your CV I'd be delighted to hear from you!
