Account Manager
Maidstone - must drive with own transport due to location
£30-£35k Basic (£40-45k OTE)
My client based in Maidstone is looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their greatly expanding team!
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a sales background along with commercial awareness. Ideally, this candidate will have knowledge in the IT industry and be able to show previous accounts they have managed and developed.
Duties include:
* Ensuring day-to-day activity maximises sales potential
* Providing a link between internal teams and customers
* Understand customer requirements and ensure an outstanding service is provided to them at all times
* Attending external meetings
* Support colleagues with any questions and queries
* Any other duties as required
The successful candidate will have / be:
* Sales experience
* A background in IT
* Good attention to detail
* Able to understand and recognise sales forecasts, market conditions, product trends, competitor activity, and commercials to suggest ways to help with stock management
* Able to build and maintain strong relations with external stakeholders
* Able to recognise how their performance effects the success of the business
* The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
* Able to competently carry out all system tasks after being provided with the required training
My client offers a competitive basic salary along with uncapped commission and career progression to allow their employees to push themselves to achieve the best they can! There really is no limit to where you can end up!
