Site Manager for innovative modular housing job in Sussex

Your new role
An experienced Site Manager to join the on site team and oversee operations on a specific area of the site and reporting into a site based experienced project manager. The site is a mix of new build modular housing and a 3 storey block of modular flats.
Key responsibilities:
* Compiling and working to the project programme and drive weekly targets
* Short term planning to ensure an efficient and planned execution of the works.
* Plans and oversees the site setup, ensuring that the appropriate facilities are in place prior to the project launch
* Manage the relationship with the sub-contractors
* Takes ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are always adhered to on site, and maintain quality control procedures
* Flag any issues with the Management Team, which have the potential to have an impact on the effective delivery of the project - I.e. materials, works schedules, resources,
* Be able to communicate the site requirements to the commercial team and achieve the most economical reasonable solution bearing in mind commercial constraints
* Manage site documentation
* Oversee the day to day safe logistics of the works with special attention to People and Machinery, Working at Height and Lifting Operations. Protecting the public and site operations in equal measure.
* Creating RFI's and communicating to relevant parties i.e. Designers / Sub Contractors and chasing up replies and forwarding replies as required keeping site register up to date
