Overview of the position:
We are currently seeking for a number of roles for NHS cleaners in Croydon. This is a Long-term Temporary Contract, which will lead to the opportunity to apply for the permanent post, with a starting rate of £10.00 per hour inclusive of Holiday pay, working Monday - Friday.

The cleaner role is in a unique working environment with a strong sense of team working. You must have clinical experience and cleaned in a health care environment. Always in demand, you could benefit from long-term contracts and there is also potential, once trained, to work in other prisons both locally and nationally. You must be local to Croydon or have your own transport.

Purpose of the Cleaner role:
As part of the Facilities & Waste Disposal team you will be responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of the hospital.


Previous cleaning experience is essential for this role and Clinical experience is a must.

The nature of the role requires candidates to be security conscious and able to challenge potential compromises and risks, you will also need to be reliable and consistent, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will have a background in cleaning, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, Building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others.

All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS which can take up to 3 weeks to come back. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer.
