Operations Manager / Chief of Staff



Overview:

To lead and implement the co-ordination of services and communications provided to clients and to streamline as necessary, across the members' administration team, the syndicate analysts (client executives) and compliance. Also to include the oversight and review of the operational procedures of the company and the general management of the office. To assist in the HR and company secretarial functions of the company.



Areas of influence:

* Day to day operations and business activity
* Communication (internally & externally
* Support Compliance & risk management
* Assist with Financial management
* Transformation and innovation
* People & Culture
* Performance standards
* Facilities



Knowledge and Experience

* 10+ years in managing people, working and engaging with a wide variety of individuals including maximising staff satisfaction and ongoing staff development.
* Involvement in review of processes and procedures, business change, system improvements with successful outcomes and solutions.



Skills and Abilities

* Capable of working unsupervised in a non-hierarchical management structure but also a strong team player and ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
* Self-motivated with good initiative and a willingness to embrace and contribute new ideas/procedures.
* Rigorous, solutions-based, positive approach with strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture whilst also able to dig down into the detail.
* Excellent diplomatic influencing and communication skills to secure efficiency, trust and confidence both internally and externally.
* Comfortable in working in a small company culture which is aiming to adapt to the growing business.
* Exhibits a proactive approach to consulting with others and sharing information.
