Our client, a well-established company based in Rochester, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. As a recruitment agency, we are looking for talented and driven individuals who are eager to take on a new challenge and make a positive impact on our client`s business.
Responsibilities:
-Processing invoices and payments
-Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
-Maintaining accurate financial records
-Assisting with VAT returns and year-end closing procedures
-Providing general administrative support to the Accounts Department
-Credit control
-Purchase Ledger
Requirements:
-A minimum of 2 years` experience in an accounts role
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
-Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
