Ideally looking for an enthusiastic, committed and highly capable Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller to join a fast-paced team here in central Tunbridge Wells.

This is a full-time, office-based role requiring the successful applicant to work 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Day to Day Duties:
Manage invoice and credit note queries
Handle and manage customer accounts
Send monthly customer statements
Chase outstanding balances by telephone and email
Credit card allocation
Invoice inputting onto external supplier portal
Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are cleared for payment
Take card payments by phone
Assist purchase ledger
Resolve queries both internally and externally regarding outstanding invoices
Qualifications and Skills needed
Ideally have a minimum 1 year of accounts experience or keen to start a career in accounts (ideally a minimum of a 6 and above in Mathematics GSCE or B)
Attention to detail and well organised
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
Strong communication skills
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Salary: circa £26,000 with excellent career growth opportunities
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
